I'm Brian. Nice to meet you!

I'm a software engineering professional with over three decades of industry experience as a team leader, programmer, and UX designer.

As a former entrepreneur and co-founder of the Sony office in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, I led projects and teams at Sony for over 20 years. My most recent role was Sr. Director of Engineering at PlayStation (2018-2024), where I managed global teams building and running the PlayStation Store, and was responsible for leadership of the Waterloo site.

I'm also a singer-songwriter, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. I record and release my own music, and have done session and live work for other artists – providing piano, Hammond B3 organ, vintage keyboard and synth parts for their music.
